Chauvin Guillaume

Guillaume Chauvin joined the Hans Lucas studio in 2015. Based in Strasbourg (FRA) and Ekaterinburg (UK), he has become accustomed to off-track experiences and regularly questions the subjectivity of images. Permeable to alternative zones and characters, he publishes his photographs, poems, manifestos or war stories in the press and collaborates with multiple sponsors. He is also developing his work as a writer for Éditions Allia (La Faute aux photos - 2018, La vie Russe - 2014 and Aucun détour ne ment - 2011) and as an independent publisher with Éditions M’habitent. He has participated in several group exhibitions such as “Azimut”, with Tendance Floue at the Centre d’Art de photographie de Lectoure in 2021, or “Lusted men” at the Rencontres d’Arles in 2020.
