Larisa Pelle
Larisa is a journalist and documentary filmmaker of Finnish origin born in the Soviet Union. Having graduated a MSc in Journalism from Saint Petersburg State University in 2002, Pelle worked as a reporter and international correspondent for Russian and Finnish magazines. Her main focus has then been indigenous cultures and identity. Text, photography, multimedia and mixed media have all been her working tools, later leading to a career in docu-mentary film. Pelle has published in, among others, National Geographic and GEO magazines and worked as a Finland correspondent for AFP news agency.
